Where automated tools are used

Keelfield uses automated tools, including machine-learning models, at 3 stages of a search: sourcing and ranking candidates against the brief, running a structured first-round screen, and scoring assessments against the brief. The same tools benchmark compensation across the markets we source from. The 7 stages are listed on the how we hire page.

What they read

The tools read your résumé or profile, your answers on our forms, the transcript of a first-round screen if you take one, any assessment you complete, and your public professional profile.

They do not read anything you have not given us or made public. We do not use your data to train or tune a model for anyone else.

Who decides

A named recruiter reviews every shortlist and has the final say on who moves forward.

A named recruiter reviews the ranked list at stage 3 and decides who moves forward, and can override any ranking. Someone who has done the job runs the practice screen at stage 5. You, the candidate, decide whether your profile goes to any client.

Every decision a person makes is recorded with the reason.

What you can ask for

You can ask us whether an automated tool was used at a stage that affected you, and how.

You can ask for an alternative process, for example a screen with a person instead of a model, or for an adjustment because of a disability. Ask your recruiter or write to the address below. Asking does not affect how your profile is treated.

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted. The privacy policy explains how.

Notice in every role

Every role Keelfield sends to a candidate carries a line saying that automated tools are used in the process and linking to this page.

If you are outside the United States

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you. If a decision that affected you was made with an automated tool, you can ask for a person to review it. Write to the address below or ask your recruiter.
